Galaxy Watch8 Series Renders Reveal Bold New Look and Features

The upcoming Galaxy Watch8 series is all but officially revealed, thanks to a fresh batch of detailed renders leaked by Evan Blass.

These images give us a near-complete look at what to expect from Samsung’s latest generation of smartwatches, set to launch on July 9 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7.

What’s immediately noticeable is the bold move to a squircle design across the entire lineup. Whether you’re a fan of rounded corners or not, Samsung is clearly all-in with this aesthetic shift.

The standard Galaxy Watch8 is shown in sleek Black, sporting a flush sapphire glass top, two streamlined buttons on the right, and a loudspeaker on the left. It’s minimal and modern, clearly aimed at users who want sophistication without bulk.

Next, the Galaxy Watch8 Classic returns with a familiar rotating bezel, now paired with a refreshed triple-button layout. It strongly resembles the Galaxy Watch Ultra, especially with its prominent center crown. It’s still unclear whether the crown will rotate or act as a static multifunction button, but the design screams premium.

Then we have the rugged Galaxy Watch8 Ultra 2, seen in a striking Blue version. It features a fixed bezel with bold blue-and-orange accents, an eye-catching orange middle button, and a tough-looking titanium grey case. It’s clearly geared toward adventure lovers and power users alike.

Under the hood, all three watches are expected to run on Samsung’s trusty Exynos W1000 chip, support LTE connectivity, and launch with Wear OS 6 preinstalled. These specs suggest a solid performance foundation and strong app ecosystem support.

If these renders are close to the final hardware, the Watch8 lineup could mark a bold visual shift for Samsung’s wearables-something long-time users will either love or debate endlessly.
