Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Might Beat the Moto Razr Plus 2025-For $200 Less

Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE during its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, and it might just shake up the foldable market. Priced at a rumored $800, the Flip 7 FE is shaping up to be a budget-friendly powerhouse that may even outperform the $1,000 Motorola Razr Plus 2025.

Leaked Geekbench 6 scores show the Z Flip 7 FE (model SM-F761B) hitting 1,940 in single-core and 6,136 in multi-core benchmarks.

That’s a clear lead over the Razr Plus 2025, which scored 1,896 and 4,814 respectively. These numbers suggest Samsung’s affordable foldable will glide through daily use and still pack a punch for gaming and multitasking.

Performance aside, Samsung’s history of longer software support, tight ecosystem integration, and vibrant AMOLED displays add serious value to the Z Flip 7 FE. And while the FE tag usually signals some compromises, early indicators hint that the phone won’t cut too many corners.

Of course, the Moto Razr Plus has its own charm. Its external display is arguably more functional, and some users prefer its design and feel. But unless Motorola slashes the price or introduces a surprise feature drop, Samsung’s strategy of packing solid specs into a more affordable foldable might be the winning formula in 2025.

With only a day to go until the official announcement, the Z Flip 7 FE could be the foldable to watch-especially for buyers who want top-tier foldable performance without a four-figure price tag.
