Galaxy Z Flip7 and Flip7 FE Renders Reveal Bigger Cover Display and Refined Design

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip7 and its affordable sibling, the Flip7 FE, have surfaced in a fresh batch of high-quality renders – giving fans their clearest look yet before the official launch at the Samsung Unpacked event on July 9. Courtesy of tech insider Evan Blass, the images reveal the Flip7 in striking Jet Black, Blue Shadow, and Coral Red finishes, while the Flip7 FE opts for a minimalist aesthetic with just Black and White options.

The most noticeable design shift in the Flip7 is its completely revamped cover display, now a full 4-inch Super AMOLED screen – a significant bump from the 3.4-inch panel on the Flip6.

It spans the entire front when folded, interrupted only by precise cutouts for the dual camera system and LED flash. The FE model, on the other hand, sticks with the familiar 3.4-inch layout seen on last year’s standard Flip6, underscoring its more budget-conscious appeal.

While both models are expected to run on the recently announced Exynos 2500 chipset, which brings enhanced efficiency and performance, some fans remain cautious. Notably, rumors suggest that Samsung DeX functionality may again be absent from these Flip models – a disappointment for power users hoping for desktop-style multitasking on the go.

Although we’ve yet to hear details on special Samsung.com-exclusive colors, the overall design of the Flip7 series appears more refined and functional than ever – though still not without some user-requested features like an extra earpiece on the cover screen

. As the foldable phone race heats up, Samsung looks set to deliver a mix of premium flair and more accessible innovation this summer.
