Google Pixel 10 Pro Revealed: Sleek Looks, Familiar Feel
Google has officially pulled back the curtain on the Pixel 10 Pro with a slick teaser that confirms recent design leaks. The 13-second clip, now live on the Google Store in several regions, starts with a glowing silhouette of the number 10 that morphs into a camera island and then the Pixel 10 Pro itself. It’s a short but stylish look at what’s coming on August 20, when the Pixel 10 series is set to debut.
Alongside the Pixel 10 Pro, we’re expecting to see the Pixel 10, 10 Pro XL, and a foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. While Google kept other details under wraps, it did promise an “exclusive offer” for Google Store subscribers who opt in to marketing emails by August 19.
The teaser confirms what fans have suspected: the Pixel 10 Pro sticks with the familiar horizontal camera bar, now refined but not radically different from its predecessors. It’s an evolution rather than a revolution – a fact not lost on Pixel fans, some of whom are voicing disappointment over the incremental upgrade.
Under the hood, the Pixel 10 Pro packs the Tensor G5 SoC, a 6.3-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides. It offers up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM. The camera array includes a 50MP main shooter, 48MP ultrawide with macro, and 48MP telephoto with macro. The 42MP selfie camera sits up front, while a 4,870mAh battery supports 29W wired charging, 15W wireless, and Qi2 support.
The larger sibling, the Pixel 10 Pro XL, increases the screen to 6.8 inches and the battery to 5,200mAh with faster 39W wired charging. Otherwise, it mirrors the same premium hardware.
Still, some longtime users are longing for bolder changes. Calls for a return to the Nexus 6P visor-style camera or even a removable camera island (to flatten the back!) reveal a mix of nostalgia and practicality. Meanwhile, others point out design concerns like camera housing separation issues in past models-hoping Google has improved durability this time.
With just weeks to go until launch, the Pixel 10 Pro is shaping up to be a solid, polished flagship-but whether it brings enough newness to justify an upgrade remains hotly debated.
