Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced Launches on August 12 with New Features

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced is set to launch on August 12 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Microsoft has confirmed. This enhanced edition follows the original release on PC and Xbox Series X|S last year and will be available as a free upgrade for those who already own the game. On PlayStation 5, players can choose between two editions: the Standard Edition for $49.99, which includes the base game with additional features, and the Deluxe Edition for $69.99, which offers the base game along with a PS5-optimized version of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice.

Those who own the PlayStation 4 version of the original game will receive a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version.

The Enhanced edition brings a host of new features that elevate the experience across all platforms. One of the most notable improvements is the addition of Performance Mode on Xbox Series X, allowing for 60 FPS gameplay, a first for the series on consoles. On PC, the game will feature a new Very High preset, pushing the visual fidelity even further. The Enhanced edition will also be Steam Deck Verified, ensuring an optimized experience on the handheld console. Additionally, players will have access to a new optional play mode, the return of Dark Rot, an upgraded photo mode, and developer commentary, making this the definitive version of the game.

With its combination of visual upgrades and new features, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced aims to offer an improved and immersive experience for fans of the series and newcomers alike. Whether you’re playing on PC, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S, this edition promises to deliver a smooth and enhanced gameplay experience. The game will be available on August 12, so mark your calendars!

Only a 5-hour game, but the second one is definitely better. If you want more depth, maybe check out the A Plague Tale series. Much better narrative
