Honor has rolled out MagicOS 9.0.0.175 for the Magic6 series, and it’s not just another routine update – this one is packed with real upgrades, especially for mobile gamers and photography lovers.

The star of the show? The Phantom Engine, previously exclusive to the GT models, is finally making its debut on the Magic6 lineup.

The Phantom Engine is designed with hardcore gamers in mind. It predicts heavy rendering frames during gameplay and allocates resources accordingly. The result? Smoother gaming with significantly reduced stuttering, even in demanding titles like Genshin Impact, Honor of Kings, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. While it may slightly increase power draw and generate more heat, the performance gains are a welcome trade-off for those who play graphically intense games.
