The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Galactus Finally Revealed Thanks to Hot Toys
As the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps draws near, Marvel is still holding back on revealing much about the towering villain Galactus, played by Ralph Ineson. While trailers have kept his appearance a mystery, leaked promo art gave fans a glimpse of his face. But now, thanks to Hot Toys, we’re getting our clearest look yet at the MCU version of Galactus, and it’s all thanks to the new Hot Toys Galactus Jumbo Sofvi Figure.
This highly detailed figure is impressive, standing at 70 cm (27.6 inches) tall, and gives us a closer look at Galactus as he will appear in the movie. The design clearly follows the comic book inspiration, with Ineson’s likeness visible beneath the mysterious, otherworldly texture of his face. The figure also showcases some impressive detail in the sculpting, capturing the cosmic villain’s vast and intimidating presence.
Unlike typical Hot Toys figures, the Galactus Jumbo Sofvi is larger than life. It’s not just bigger-it’s also less articulated than Hot Toys’ usual offerings, with only limited movement in the head, waist, and arms. This helps keep the cost more reasonable for such a large figure. It’s also not in the standard 1:6 scale Hot Toys usually uses. Given that Galactus towers over the heroes in the film, a 1:6 scale version would be out of this world-literally.
Along with the Galactus figure, Hot Toys is also releasing 1:6 scale figures of the entire Fantastic Four family. The Invisible Woman even comes with a miniature version of baby Franklin Richards, adding another layer of charm. Additionally, both Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic are available in a bundle with the robotic helper H.E.R.B.I.E.
Will this giant Galactus figure make its way into your collection? And how do you feel about the MCU’s take on this iconic villain? Let us know in the comments!
