Infinix is about to take the smartphone market by storm with the upcoming Hot 60 Pro+, which promises impressive features that could leave the Galaxy S25 Edge in the dust. A recent leak has revealed the Hot 60 Pro+’s specs, and it’s shaping up to be a powerhouse with a 5,160mAh battery and a slim 5.95mm body.

This makes it significantly thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which is only slightly thinner at 5.8mm and packs a smaller 3,900mAh battery.

But that’s not all. The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ is not only lighter at 154.6g, compared to the S25 Edge’s 163.8g, but it also boasts a massive 50MP rear camera and a 13MP front camera. It has a 2,400×1,080-pixel curved display with a centered punch-hole design, making it a sleek and stylish device. The phone is powered by the new Helio G200 Ultimate SoC, which Infinix plans to launch in July, putting them neck and neck with Tecno’s Spark 40 series, which will also use the same chipset.

One of the standout features of the Hot 60 Pro+ is its battery life. The use of Silicon-Carbon technology allows Infinix to fit a higher capacity battery in a slim form factor. The charging speed is expected to be faster than its predecessor, the Hot 50 Pro+, which charged at 33W. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge only supports a meager 25W charging speed. Infinix could also surprise us with the software, as the Hot 60 Pro+ runs on XOS 15.1.0, a custom Android skin that has received mixed reactions.

While the Hot 60 Pro+ promises great value for money with its impressive specs, there are concerns about durability. The slim body and lightweight design might make it more prone to bending or breaking under pressure, something that could turn off potential buyers. Despite these concerns, the Hot 60 Pro+ seems to be a strong contender in the budget flagship market, offering features that challenge even the more premium offerings from Samsung.
