Infinix has officially launched the Hot 60 series globally, headlined by the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+, a budget smartphone with surprisingly premium features. Just weeks after its initial reveal, the Hot 60 Pro+ is now available in multiple global markets alongside the Hot 60 Pro, Hot 60i, and Hot 60 5G.

The star of the lineup, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+, comes equipped with the Helio G200 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

It ships with Android 15 and XOS 15.1 and promises updates up to Android 18, with five years of security patches-a rare commitment in this price range.

Its 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display delivers a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a sharp 1224p resolution, complete with an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 13MP selfie camera tucked inside a punch-hole cutout. The rear setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a secondary camera, supported by a unique Active Halo Light feature that adds flair to the back design.

One of the most surprising aspects of the Hot 60 Pro+ is its build-measuring only 5.95mm in thickness and weighing just 155g, it’s among the slimmest and lightest smartphones in its class. Despite its sleek design, it packs a solid 5,160 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It also boasts an IP65 rating, NFC, JBL-tuned stereo speakers, and a One-Tap AI button for quick actions.

The Hot 60 Pro+ is offered in a colorful array of options including Titanium Silver, Misty Violet, Sleek Black, Sonic Yellow, Coral Tides, and a standout Moco Cyber Green edition. The latter comes with Scent Weave Leather on the back, inspired by Davidoff Cool Water, for those who appreciate fragrance-infused fashion tech.

Buyers can choose between 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants, with pricing starting at just $150-making it one of the most affordable smartphones with a 144Hz AMOLED panel. However, it’s worth noting that while the G200 SoC handles everyday tasks fine, it’s not built for serious gaming or GPU-heavy workloads.

Infinix also introduced the rest of the Hot 60 lineup globally, though pricing details for the Hot 60 Pro, Hot 60i, and Hot 60 5G remain unannounced. Interestingly, some Hot 60 5G models ship with the Dimensity 7060 chip and include NFC support. But don’t be fooled by the naming-despite its 7000-series branding, the Dimensity 7060 reportedly offers performance closer to the G99 and is powered by an IMG BXM GPU, which has drawn criticism for its inconsistent performance.

All in all, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ aims to punch above its weight with a unique mix of affordability, aesthetics, and long-term software support-though it may not be the top pick for power users or mobile gamers.
