The Infinix Hot 60i is the latest addition to the budget-friendly Hot series, bringing a mix of performance upgrades and improved durability. The phone arrives with a more powerful 45W fast charging, a sturdier build, and a slimmer profile compared to its predecessor, the Hot 50i.
Available in Bangladesh and Kenya, it’s expected to launch in other markets soon.
On the display front, the 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel remains largely unchanged, but it now boasts a brighter 700 nits (up from 500 nits) and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, the resolution stays at 720p+, which might be disappointing for some users, though the Always On display feature is a welcome addition.
The standout feature here is the 5,160mAh battery, which supports the impressive 45W fast charging. Infinix claims it can charge from 1% to 50% in just 24 minutes, a significant improvement over the 18W charging on the previous model. Infinix also promises a long-lasting battery with a 5-year lifespan, equivalent to 1,800 charging cycles.
Durability is another major improvement. The Hot 60i is built to survive 1.5-meter drops and is rated IP64, meaning it can withstand dust and light splashes of water. The phone’s frame is only 7.7mm thick and weighs 188g, making it comfortable to hold. The Hot 60i comes in a variety of colors to suit different tastes.
Under the hood, the Hot 60i is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, paired with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The phone also supports NFC for close-range data sharing, an IR blaster for remote control apps, and dual-SIM 4G connectivity. For gamers, the inclusion of a Hard Gyro sensor allows precise motion control in games and navigation in GPS-deprived areas like underground parking or dense forests.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor that supports 1080p video recording at 30fps, plus an 8MP selfie camera. The device runs on XOS 15 based on Android 15, with AI functionality accessible via the One-Tap AI button on the side.
The Infinix Hot 60i is priced competitively, with the 6GB/128GB model available for BDT 14,000 (~€98) and the 8GB/256GB variant priced at BDT 16,500 (~€115). It’s an attractive option for those seeking a solid performer without breaking the bank.
