Infinix has launched its new Smart 10 series, targeting budget-conscious users with stylish design and surprisingly capable features. The lineup includes three devices: the Smart 10, Smart 10 Plus, and Smart 10 HD – all designed to deliver a well-rounded smartphone experience without breaking the bank.
Each phone in the series features a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, with the Smart 10 HD offering a 90Hz refresh rate, while the Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus impress with smoother 120Hz panels.
With 700 nits of peak brightness, the screens stay visible even outdoors.
Under the hood, all three phones are powered by the Unisoc T7250 (T615) chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There’s also support for microSD expansion and the fan-favorite 3.5mm headphone jack. For audio, Infinix includes dual DTS-tuned speakers and a 300% volume boost mode for extra punch.
On the camera front, the Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus come equipped with 8MP rear and front cameras, while the Smart 10 HD gets a more advanced 13MP rear sensor paired with an AI lens and an 8MP selfie shooter. This setup ensures decent shots for social media without overcomplicating things.
The battery life is another highlight. The Smart 10 Plus boasts a large 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging, making it ideal for heavy users. Meanwhile, the Smart 10 and Smart 10 HD include 5,000mAh batteries with 15W and 10W charging respectively. The Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus also carry IP64 dust and water resistance, adding extra durability.
Software-wise, the Smart 10 HD runs XOS 13 based on Android 14 Go Edition, optimized for low-end hardware. The Smart 10 and 10 Plus, however, take it up a notch with XOS 15.1 based on Android 15, offering a more refined experience.
The devices come in a vibrant palette of colors. The Smart 10 Plus is available in Sleek Black, Titanium Silver, Iris Blue, and Ruby Red. It retails in Malaysia for MYR 349 (~$82) for the 4/128GB variant and MYR 399 (~$94) for the 8/128GB version. The standard Smart 10 comes in similar colors with a base 3/64GB trim priced at MYR 299 (~$70). The Smart 10 HD stands out in Timber Black, Shiny Gold, Crystal Green, and Galaxy White.
Overall, the Smart 10 series punches above its weight, offering a compelling mix of modern design, decent performance, and useful extras like stereo speakers and expandable storage – all at ultra-affordable prices.
