Intel has officially announced the discontinuation of its Arc A750 and A770 Alchemist GPUs, marking the end of its ambitious attempt to break into the discrete GPU market. These GPUs, which were released in October 2022, will have their production halted earlier than expected, with the A750 officially ending orders by June 27, 2025, and ceasing shipments by September 26, 2025. The A770, meanwhile, will be discontinued on November 18, 2025, but shipments will continue until May 20, 2026. As part of this process, Intel will also phase out several mobile Arc Alchemist GPUs, including the A530M, A350M, A730M, A770M, A570M, and A370M.

Although these GPUs are still available for purchase, many have already reached the unofficial end of life (EOL) due to limited availability.

Intel’s Arc Alchemist series represents the company’s first serious attempt to compete with AMD and NVIDIA in the discrete GPU space. Unfortunately, the series didn’t quite live up to expectations, and while the upcoming Battlemage lineup was hoped to fill the gap, it has also failed to make a significant impact. The market is now looking toward Intel’s Xe3-based Celestial GPUs, which hold more promise for gamers and enthusiasts looking for new, powerful GPU options.
