iOS 26 Brings Package Tracking to Apple Wallet with a Fresh New Look

iOS 26 introduces a neat feature for Apple Wallet that you may actually use. During the WWDC 2025 keynote on June 9, Apple revealed a massive update for its mobile operating system. One of the standout new features, though not highlighted during the keynote, is the integration of Apple Intelligence into the Wallet app. This integration brings a package tracking feature that scans your email for shipping details.

Previously, package tracking in Apple Wallet was limited to purchases made via Apple Pay. With iOS 26, however, you can track any package by simply finding an email from a merchant or delivery service that contains tracking information. The system will automatically add this information to your Wallet app so you can stay up-to-date on your deliveries.

To activate this feature, go to the Wallet app and open the Apple Pay section in Settings. Tap on ‘Apple Pay Defaults’ and select ‘Order Tracking.’ From there, enable the ‘Orders Found in Mail’ option, which will allow Apple Intelligence to scan your emails for package details. While this feature is still in beta and labeled as such, it’s expected to be a helpful addition for users who shop online frequently.

Currently, the iOS 26 update is only available in developer beta, but the public beta will launch in July. The final version of iOS 26, along with the new iPhone 17 series, is expected to be released in the fall. In addition to package tracking, iOS 26 brings a stunning new design, featuring ‘Liquid Glass,’ which gives the interface a smooth, elegant appearance. Fans of Apple’s design language will definitely appreciate the fresh, fluid aesthetics. Meanwhile, Android 16 has also launched, with the stable version now rolling out to Pixel devices.

Not bad, but I don't see why this couldn't have been done earlier. Still, it's a cool update!
