iOS 26 is here, and it’s bringing a small but game-changing feature: customizable alarm snooze intervals. For years, the standard snooze duration on iPhones has been stuck at 9 minutes, a throwback to old mechanical clocks. But with iOS 26, you can finally choose your snooze length, ranging from 1 to 15 minutes.
This means you can tailor your alarm snooze to fit your morning routine – whether you need just a couple of minutes to open your eyes or a bit more time to fully wake up.
Beyond the snooze update, iOS 26 introduces other quality-of-life improvements. The new Liquid Glass design is sleek and stylish, but the real gems are the smaller tweaks. For instance, the Weather app now provides critical weather alerts for your travel destinations, and Apple Wallet will soon be able to track all your orders with the help of AI. Plus, you can now report voicemails as spam, making it easier to manage your messages.
Currently in beta for developers, iOS 26 will be available for public beta testing next month, with the official stable release coming in the fall alongside the iPhone 17 series. These changes, while subtle, are set to make a big difference in your daily tech experience.
