Fresh renders have just dropped, showcasing the full iPhone 17 lineup in all-new colors, and it’s clear Apple is putting a bold foot forward this year.
As previously rumored, the iPhone 17 Plus is officially out, replaced by the sleeker and lighter iPhone 17 Air.
Thanks to leakers like Majin Bu and Setsuna Digital, we now have a clear look at what to expect color-wise. The iPhone 17 Pro stuns with a vivid orange finish – a fiery evolution of last year’s Desert Titanium – while a subtle light blue hue, originally considered for the Pro, has found a home on the iPhone 17 Air.
The base iPhone 17 sticks to a playful mix: purple, green, and a surprisingly premium Steel Gray. While these pop nicely, the Air model seems to be the least adventurous in color choice – not great for a phone meant to fill the Plus-sized void. Apple could’ve added a bit more flair here.
Notably missing from the renders is the new Liquid Glass finish on the iPhone 17 Pro, likely represented as “white” in the images. This unique material is designed to shift appearance depending on light – echoing the dynamic UI of iOS 26.
Apple’s fall release will also include iOS 26, which will bring that Liquid Glass aesthetic to the software itself. Between the software redesign, the new Air model, and bold Pro colors, Apple’s clearly shaking things up in 2025.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 and Google’s Pixel 10 are just around the corner – but neither is expected to launch anything revolutionary. Apple, on the other hand, is taking chances. Whether these changes are enough to tempt Android users remains to be seen, but there’s no denying that in terms of design evolution, Cupertino is charging ahead.
