Exciting changes are coming to Apple’s iPhone lineup this September, and the iPhone 17 Pro is leading the charge. 
This new iPhone promises to be the most significant redesign in a decade, with a fresh back design featuring a massive camera bump-resembling more of a shelf than a traditional bump-and several minor adjustments to the placement of the Apple logo.
Leaks have been steadily pouring in over the past few weeks, with iPhone 17 Pro renders and dummy models surfacing regularly. Today, we get another glimpse of what the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro might look like, with images shared by the ever-reliable Majin Bu on his X account. The new pictures showcase the iPhone 17 Pro’s rear and side design.
Despite the images showing a powered-off device, the way the phone is held-pinched lightly between two fingers, showing no sign of weight-suggests that this is another dummy unit. These models are simple hollow replicas of the real phone, lacking any internal electronics, but they match the dimensions and button placements of the final product.
The star feature in these images is undoubtedly the camera bump (also referred to by some as a ‘visor’). The actual placement of the three cameras appears unchanged from the iPhone 16 Pro, but the aesthetic design surrounding the cameras is where the main shift occurs.
Another design tweak revealed in this leak is the repositioning of the Apple logo. It’s now centered below the camera module. While this looks fine on the dummy model, the offset becomes slightly noticeable when a MagSafe case is added, giving the impression of a misalignment.
We’ve seen similar hands-on shots before from Majin Bu, showing the iPhone 17 Pro in black, but aside from these design updates, we still don’t know much about the iPhone 17’s hardware and specs. However, rumors point to the use of BOE displays in some iPhone 17 models, specifically those intended for the Chinese market. We also expect thinner bezels, a 120Hz refresh rate for the non-Pro models, and a new selfie camera to be included in the mix.
