Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series is getting a splash of personality with what might be its boldest color lineup yet. Thanks to a fresh leak from Sonny Dickson, we now have a collective look at the full color palette expected for the iPhone 17, 17 Air, and 17 Pro models – and it looks like Apple is finally breaking out of its grayscale comfort zone.
The standard iPhone 17 appears to be the most adventurous of the bunch, sporting a vibrant mix of black, gray, silver, light blue, green, and purple. 
This marks one of the widest base model color selections in years, hinting at a strategy shift aimed at younger users and personalization-focused buyers.
The sleeker, mid-tier iPhone 17 Air is also getting some love with four elegant shades: black, silver, blue-gray, and light gold. And yes, just as the leaks predicted, it seems the Air will indeed have a single rear camera – a decision that may spark some debate, but helps keep the design clean and the price down.
The real surprise, though, is in the Pro and Pro Max models. Apple is apparently adding two new color options to the classic Pro trio of black, gray, and silver: a deep navy blue and a striking orange. The latter has insiders speculating that it might actually be a copper-toned or dark gold finish, depending on lighting – either way, it’s definitely something different for Apple’s high-end devices.
While color choices might seem superficial to some, they’re a subtle but effective way for Apple to keep its annual refresh cycle exciting without drastic hardware changes. And for the fashion-forward or collectors out there, that orange Pro Max might just be the one to watch.
