More details have emerged about the iQOO 15, and it looks like a flagship device worth keeping an eye on. Back in May, we learned that the phone would feature a 6.85-inch QHD+ Samsung-made flat LIPO OLED screen, and now the same trusted leaker, Digital Chat Station on Weibo, has returned with even more information.
The iQOO 15 will come equipped with a powerful 50 MP periscope telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom-something that was previously seen in the iQOO 12, but sadly removed from the iQOO 13, which instead featured a non-periscope 2x optical zoom.
Other impressive features of the iQOO 15 include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, vivo’s self-developed independent display chip, and 100W wired charging support. There is still some debate about whether wireless charging will be included, but reports suggest that iQOO is leaning towards adding it.
In terms of performance, the iQOO 15 will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, which is expected to be officially unveiled in September. While the iQOO 13 missed out on a few key features, like wireless charging and a periscope camera, the iQOO 15 seems to have all the makings of a true flagship phone. For those who are looking for cutting-edge technology without sacrificing power or efficiency, the iQOO 15 is shaping up to be an exciting release.
