The new LEGO Lord of the Rings set featuring the Balrog has sparked a mix of excitement and laughter, as an oddly posed photo has caught fans’ attention. The Balrog Book Nook, launched this month, allows fans to bring the fire-breathing monster from Middle-Earth into their homes.

Available now for purchase on Amazon and at the LEGO Store, the set includes 1,201 pieces to recreate the intense battle between Gandalf and the Balrog from the iconic scene in The Fellowship of the Ring.

While the set itself is a visually impressive display, one product image has caught the eye of the internet for a less heroic reason. In the image, the Balrog’s glowing magma whip is positioned in such a way that it appears to be hanging loosely at the creature’s waist, leading some fans to humorously suggest that it looks like the monster is urinating. The moment has sparked a wave of online banter, with one fan commenting, “We all know we thought it with that image,” and another joking, “*jumps to comments* Ok good, it wasn’t just me.”

Several others echoed similar thoughts, including one who said, “I know it’s the fire whip, but it really does look like the Balrog is taking a piss on Gandalf.” As expected, fans didn’t hold back with their responses, including one riffing on the famous line from the movie: “You shall not piss.”

While the humorous photo has grabbed attention, some fans also expressed concerns about the price point of the set, which retails for $129. Despite these critiques, the Balrog remains an iconic character in the franchise, with more Balrog-related content on the horizon. The Lord of the Rings prequel series Rings of Power features the Balrog in its second season, with the fiery creature appearing in the depths of Moria, a long time before Gandalf’s famous showdown.

In other news, 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) recently confirmed that he might be playing the role of the Balrog in the upcoming Street Fighter movie, further fueling the month’s Balrog buzz.
