Amazon Prime Video has announced three new cast members for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3 as production continues at Shepperton Studios in the UK. 
Andrew Richardson, Zubin Varla, and Adam Young will be joining the series, although their specific roles remain undisclosed for now.
Richardson, known for his work in The Last O.G. and Extrapolations, will be a series regular in the upcoming season. Varla, a seasoned actor from Holby City and Strike Back, has also appeared in the Disney+ series Andor. Young, who has appeared in Netflix’s The Witcher: Blood Origin and Don’t Breathe 2, will play a recurring character.
These cast additions follow the February announcement that The Rings of Power has been renewed for a third season after the dramatic conclusion of Season 2 in October 2024. Other new cast members include Jamie Campbell Bower, known for his roles in Stranger Things and The Twilight Saga, as well as Eddie Marsan, who will play a recurring role. Both Bower and Marsan are expected to make significant contributions to the storyline as the series progresses.
Although Amazon has confirmed Season 3, a release date has yet to be revealed. While fans eagerly await the next chapter in this epic saga, there’s plenty of speculation about the direction the story will take after the shocking events of the previous season.
