Marvel Comics has just announced the exciting addition of Samurai Venom, a brand-new character created by none other than Takashi Okazaki, the mind behind the iconic Afro Samurai. 
This debut happens in Venom: Black, White & Blood #3, which brings a fresh take on the symbiote’s story in a unique anthology format. The issue is set to drop on October 29, 2025, and is sure to turn heads with its distinctive black, white, and red art style, much like the 2020’s Wolverine: Black, White & Blood miniseries.
Venom: Black, White & Blood #3 features a stellar creative team, including renowned actor and writer David Dastmalchian and artist Philip Tan. Dastmalchian and Tan delve into the earliest days of Eddie Brock’s journey with the Venom symbiote, revealing thrilling adventures in New York, before the events of Amazing Spider-Man #299. Alongside this, there’s an alternate universe story by Carl Potts and Damian Couceiro where a violent Peter Parker becomes Venom, exploring a darker side to the character.
Of course, the main attraction is Takashi Okazaki’s Samurai Venom, a unique twist on the character set in ancient Japan. This ancient warrior version of Venom will face off against a formidable foe, Crimson Carnage, in an unforgettable battle that blends samurai culture with the dark power of the symbiote. To tease fans further, Okazaki’s variant cover offers a sneak peek at Samurai Venom’s striking design.
The issue also features a main cover by Kevin Eastman, co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, making this release even more special for comic fans.
