The MeisterSinger Kaenos is a bold new interpretation of the brand’s signature single-hand timekeeping, blending it with a modern integrated bracelet design. Drawing its name from the Greek word ‘kainos,’ which signifies something fresh or new, the Kaenos aims to redefine what we expect from a sporty yet elegant watch.
Unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2025, this innovative model introduces a redesigned hand, a sleek integrated bracelet, and a dynamic new look.
Founded in 2001 in Münster, Germany, MeisterSinger has carved out a niche by focusing exclusively on single-hand watches. Despite the seemingly outdated concept, MeisterSinger has made the art of telling time with a single hand a serene and effortless experience. As founder Manfred Brassler explains, single-hand watches encourage wearers to appreciate the bigger picture, slowing down the rush of time
. The Kaenos takes this classic concept and adds a new twist, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
Integrated bracelet sports watches surged in popularity during the late 1960s and have made a huge comeback in recent years. The seamless design, where the bracelet flows directly into the case, creates a stunning, cohesive look. MeisterSinger’s Kaenos boasts a 40mm stainless steel case with both brushed and polished surfaces, offering a blend of sportiness and elegance.
The slim 11.2mm profile ensures comfort, while the ergonomic crown, featuring MeisterSinger’s fermata symbol, adds a unique touch. With 100-meter water resistance, the Kaenos is built to withstand daily wear in any environment.
The Kaenos is available in two models: the standard Kaenos and the Kaenos Open Date. Both feature vibrant sunburst dial colors-light blue, petrol, grey, and black-and are equipped with a sandwich dial for a three-dimensional effect, enhancing the readability and luminosity in the dark. The hour hand is also newly redesigned, inspired by historical measuring instruments, adding to the watch’s distinctive look.
Powering the Kaenos is the reliable Sellita SW400 automatic movement, known for its accuracy and larger diameter compared to the SW200. This allows for an oversized date window at 6 o’clock, while the Kaenos Open Date model uses the SW200 with a rotating date disc centered on the dial, providing a fresh take on the date display.
Both models feature MeisterSinger’s signature one-hand timekeeping in a sporty, elegant package, perfect for everyday wear. The Kaenos is priced at €2,650 (including VAT), while the Kaenos Open Date is available for €2,950, starting April 1, 2025. For more details, visit MeisterSinger’s official website.
