Motorola Razr+ 2025 Review: A Closer Look at Its Features

Our Motorola Razr+ 2025 video review is live! In our in-depth look at the Motorola Razr 2025, we noted that while the device has potential, issues like chipset performance, battery life, and camera quality held it back.

But is the Motorola Razr+ 2025 a better choice?

In reality, the Razr+ 2025 is mostly a rehash of last year’s Razr+ with a few improvements. It now comes with a higher ingress protection rating (IP48 versus IPX8) and ships with a newer Android version out of the box. The new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip is an upgrade over the previous model’s hardware but still lags behind flagship processors like the one in the Razr Ultra 2025. However, it’s a step up from the Dimensity 7400X found in the base Razr 2025, addressing one of its weaknesses.

When it comes to battery life, there’s no major victory here. The Razr+ 2025 lasts slightly longer than the base model, but it’s not a massive improvement compared to its predecessor. Despite sharing similar hardware, the differences in endurance are minimal.

The camera setup is where the Razr+ stands out. Unlike the standard Razr 2025, which has an ultra-wide lens, the Razr+ 2025 features a 50MP telephoto lens with a 2x zoom, delivering a mix of solid shots and some that leave room for improvement.
