Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition Is Coming July 15 for PC and Consoles
Big news for RPG fans! Aspyr Media is bringing Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition to PC and consoles on July 15, 2025. This updated version of the classic 2002 RPG from Obsidian Entertainment promises a ton of improvements, including smoother gameplay, refined camera controls, enhanced textures, and a completely redesigned controller-specific UI for a seamless experience on consoles.
The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch for the first time ever, in addition to its PC release on Steam and GOG. The price tag? A very reasonable $29.99, with a 10% discount if you pre-order before launch!
For multiplayer fans, crossplay support between all platforms is a huge plus, allowing up to four players to team up in co-op mode. Plus, it comes packed with the base game and three epic expansions:
- Mask of the Betrayer: Embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind a curse that compels you to devour spirits to survive.
- Storm of Zehir: Shipwrecked on a hostile jungle island, you must fight your way to civilization while uncovering a world-altering conspiracy.
- Mysteries of Westgate: Dive into the seedy underbelly of Westgate, where nothing is as it seems, and uncover dark secrets before they destroy you.
As if that wasn’t enough, this Enhanced Edition also supports Steam Workshop, giving you access to a huge library of user-generated content, including modules and adventures. For the ultimate Neverwinter experience, you can even step into the role of a Dungeon Master and create your own adventures to share with others. And if you’re a diehard fan, the Neverwinter Nights 1 + 2 Enhanced Collection lets you get both editions, including the previous Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition.
