Nothing is entering the over-ear headphone market, with the upcoming release of the Nothing Headphone (1) on July 1. This exciting announcement will take place alongside the launch of the Phone (3), both of which will be officially available in the United States. While early rumors suggested a $299 price tag, the European pricing has been somewhat of a mystery.
If you’re in the Eurozone, you may have been bracing for the typical price inflation where $299 turns into €399 or even €449.
However, a new leak suggests this won’t be the case. The Nothing Headphone (1) will reportedly be priced at €299 in Europe, aligning with its US price of $299, though the UK will see a price of £299. Interestingly, a new source claims the US price might actually rise slightly, to $309 – $10 more than originally anticipated.
The Headphone (1) is expected to be available in both white and black versions in Europe and the UK, while the US will see grey and black options. While full specs are still under wraps, the headphones have been developed in collaboration with KEF, which means we can expect excellent sound quality. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a transparency mode are also expected, along with the signature minimalist design we’ve come to associate with Nothing.
