The Nothing Phone (3) has officially surfaced on Geekbench, giving fans a glimpse into what could be the company’s most powerful device yet ahead of its July 1 debut. According to the benchmark listing, the upcoming smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, scoring 2,076 in single-core and 6,577 in multi-core tests.

It also features a whopping 16GB RAM and boots Android 15, likely paired with Nothing OS 3.5.

In terms of leaked hardware, the Phone (3) is expected to ship with a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display, a generous 5,150 mAh battery with 100W fast charging, and an impressive quad-camera setup made up of four 50MP sensors – main, ultrawide, 3x periscope zoom, and selfie camera. The camera array is expected to be a major selling point, possibly justifying the rumored $1,000 price tag.

But can it hold its own against rivals like the Poco F7, which sports the same chipset and a massive 6,500 mAh battery at nearly half the price?

That’s the question sparking heated debates across tech communities. While the Poco F7 impresses on paper, some users argue its performance suffers from poor software optimization and lackluster cameras. The Nothing Phone (3), in contrast, promises a more balanced experience – combining high-end design, near-stock Android, and sustained software updates.

Still, skepticism remains. Some are wary of the phone’s reception, pointing out that its premium price doesn’t bring the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or 8 Gen 4 Elite. Others question the battery size, hoping for at least 5,500 mAh for better endurance.

However, the fact that this is only the second globally available phone with the 8s Gen 4 chipset makes the Nothing Phone (3) a rare offering – especially for those who prioritize software polish and consistent updates over pure specs. And with influencer hype already building, the device seems poised for a strong launch, despite its critics.

Whether it lives up to the expectations will depend on how well it performs in real-world use – and if its camera truly “blows everything out of the water.” One thing’s for sure: in a market flooded with spec-loaded phones, Nothing is betting big on refinement, user experience, and design to stand out.
