Nothing’s upcoming Phone (3) has leaked in a set of official renders, offering a clearer look at the device ahead of its July 1 unveiling. After an earlier fake leak, these renders-shared by Android Headlines-show the smartphone in both black and white (possibly gray) variants.
While the front is standard, the rear design is what stands out, though not necessarily for the best reasons.
The most striking feature is the camera arrangement. The Phone (3) features three rear cameras, but they’re unusually aligned: the top camera is positioned much closer to the edge compared to the one below it. This asymmetry might be polarizing, but it certainly breaks away from the usual symmetrical designs we see in other devices. Nothing has confirmed that the top camera is a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, while rumors suggest the other two cameras (main and ultrawide) also sport 50MP sensors. A black circle to the right of the rear cover indicates the presence of the Glyph Matrix, which will likely be another feature to set this phone apart.
The build of the Phone (3) is metallic, with volume buttons on the left and the power button, alongside another button, on the right. This extra button could potentially be the Essential Key, previously seen on the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro models.
Beyond the camera, Nothing has shared a few key specs: the Phone (3) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, with five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches. The display is a 6.7” FullHD+ OLED, and the phone is said to feature a 50MP selfie camera, a 5,150 mAh battery, and 100W charging support (though certification suggests it may be 65W).
Leaked pricing puts the Phone (3) at a premium, so it’ll be interesting to see how consumers react to this unconventional design.

I get that they’re trying to be ‘different’, but this just looks like a mess. That top camera placement is so off 😳
