The Nothing Phone (3) is generating a lot of buzz ahead of its expected launch next month, with rumors swirling about its specs and price. This device is poised to be the successor to last year’s Nothing Phone (2) and promises to bring some significant upgrades, especially in terms of performance and materials.
This year, the device will be available in the US and Canada, fully supporting AT&T and T-Mobile’s 4G and 5G bands.
The latest teaser is a listing on Walmart’s Business page, which, while exciting, comes with a lot of unanswered questions. The image on the listing is a placeholder from the Phone (2), and the specs listed appear to have been copied from an earlier device, the Phone (3a) Pro. The only notable difference is that the device is listed with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, which could hint at a higher-end configuration. The base model is expected to feature 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Rumors suggest the Phone (3) will be priced starting at $799 for the 12GB/256GB model and could go up to $899 for the 16GB/512GB version, positioning it as a flagship contender and a direct competitor to the likes of Google, Samsung, and Apple. This would make it the priciest device from Nothing to date.
Teasers indicate that the Phone (3) will feature “premium materials,” major performance enhancements, and an improved software experience. Notably, the device may not include the Glyph LED interface, a signature feature of the previous models, but rumors point to the possibility of a new dot-matrix display on the back, similar to the Asus ROG Phone lineup.
