OnePlus is already gearing up for its next compact power duo: the OnePlus 15T and 15s. Though the OnePlus 13T and 13s only recently hit the market, leaks are hinting at their next-gen successors-and they’re sounding like solid upgrades rather than mere iterations.
According to reliable leaker Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus 15T and 15s will retain their compact 6.32-inch displays, maintaining their identity in the shrinking compact flagship niche.
While their size might remain unchanged, under-the-hood improvements are coming in hot.
First up: a battery upgrade. The OnePlus 13T already featured a beefy 6,260 mAh battery, with the 13s following closely at 5,850 mAh. Both supported 80W fast charging. The new models are expected to push the envelope even further in battery life, though exact figures remain under wraps.
Next on the list is a brand-new chip. The current models are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, so it’s a safe bet that the 15 series will launch with Qualcomm’s next-gen processor-most likely the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2, which hasn’t been officially announced yet.
The camera department is also getting a tweak. The 13T and 13s packed dual 50MP shooters-a main and a telephoto lens. The upcoming 15 series will reportedly add a third rear camera, possibly an ultrawide sensor, though details remain scarce for now.
Interestingly, OnePlus is rumored to skip the number 14, likely due to cultural superstitions in parts of Asia where the number four is considered unlucky. That means the 15T and 15s would directly succeed the 13 series, bypassing a potential 14 lineup entirely.
Although there’s no official launch date yet, the recent release of the 13T and 13s (April and June 2025) suggests that the 15T and 15s are slated for 2026. They’ll face fierce competition from the likes of Samsung’s base Galaxy S26 and Apple’s iPhone 17-both expected to drop around the same time.
Compact is becoming a relative term in today’s market, but with flagship phones ballooning past 6.7 inches, the 6.32-inch screen of the OnePlus 15 series may just hit the sweet spot for users craving a smaller powerhouse.
