OnePlus is gearing up to launch a wallet-friendly tablet that still delivers on design and decent specs – introducing the upcoming OnePlus Pad Lite.
After recently unveiling the high-end OnePlus 13s and OnePlus Pad 3, the brand is turning its attention to budget-conscious users who still crave a taste of that OnePlus flair.
Thanks to leaks from 91mobiles and renowned tipster OnLeaks (Steve Hemmerstoffer), we now have a detailed look at the Pad Lite through a series of renders, showcasing its sleek build and a smart-looking folio cover.
The design seems inspired by the company’s earlier entry-level slate, the Pad Go. It doesn’t mimic the Pad 3’s aesthetic, but it stays true to OnePlus’s design DNA with a clean, minimalistic look. Dimensions clock in at 254.9 x 166.5 x 7.4 mm and a manageable weight of 539g – nearly identical to the Pad Go’s 532g.
Under the hood, there are modest but notable upgrades. The Pad Lite runs on a MediaTek Helio G100 processor – slightly more capable than the Pad Go’s Helio G99. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with potential for other variants at launch.
In the camera department, OnePlus has trimmed things down with a pair of 5MP sensors – one on the front and one on the rear – a downgrade from the 8MP units on the Pad Go. However, this is a trade-off that budget buyers might accept given improvements elsewhere.
One of the most exciting enhancements is the larger battery. The Pad Lite packs a generous 9,340 mAh cell, significantly more than the 8,000 mAh battery in the Pad Go. Expect longer use between charges – a big plus for students and casual users.
The display is an 11-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It’s a bit smaller and lower in resolution than the Pad Go’s 11.35-inch screen, but the higher refresh rate should offer a snappier experience.
The tablet will arrive in a stylish Aero Blue finish and will include a folio case. While pricing hasn’t been officially confirmed, rumors suggest a sub-Rs 20,000 ($230 / €200) launch in India.
With solid specs, thoughtful design, and a massive battery, the OnePlus Pad Lite is shaping up to be a compelling choice for budget tablet shoppers who want performance without breaking the bank.
