After the recent debut of the high-performance OnePlus Pad 3, OnePlus seems to be broadening its tablet lineup with a more affordable offering – the OnePlus Pad Lite.
Leaked images and specs suggest this new device is aimed squarely at budget-conscious users who still want a well-rounded Android tablet experience.
According to early leaks, the Pad Lite will feature a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset and ship with Android 15OxygenOS 15.0.1 skin. While it’s far from the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite found in the Pad 3, the Helio G100 should offer decent performance for day-to-day tasks like streaming, browsing, and light gaming.
The tablet is said to sport an 11-inch FullHD+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals without breaking the bank. A 9,340mAh battery promises all-day use, though the exact charging speed remains under wraps.
Storage-wise, the Pad Lite reportedly comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Additional memory variants may be in the pipeline, though none are confirmed yet. On the camera front, the device will feature a modest setup with 5MP sensors on both the front and rear.
Connectivity options will include both Wi-Fi and cellular models, making it versatile for work or travel. The Pad Lite will come in an elegant Aero Blue color, and OnePlus is also rumored to offer a folio cover with kickstand functionality, sold separately.
At 539g and 7.4mm thin, the tablet is lightweight and portable, measuring 254.9 x 166.5mm. However, one notable omission is the lack of a fingerprint sensor, which may be a dealbreaker for some users.
There’s no official word from OnePlus on the release timeline or pricing just yet. But for users who found the OnePlus Pad 3 too pricey or powerful for their needs, the Pad Lite might be just the right balance – assuming you’re okay with its compromises.
