Oppo A5 5G Price Leak: What We Know So Far
The Oppo A5 5G, which was first unveiled in select markets last month alongside the Oppo A5 4G and A5x 4G, is now rumored to be making its way to India soon. Although the official release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, leaks suggest that it will launch in India shortly. Below, we can see a screenshot supposedly showing the Indian version’s ‘About’ screen, hinting at what we can expect from the device.
When the Oppo A5 5G arrives, it will be available in two configurations: the entry-level model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at INR 15,499 (roughly $179), and a higher-end version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The exact price of the 8/256GB variant has not been disclosed yet.
As for the specs, the Oppo A5 5G sports a large 6.67-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720×1604 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, making it smooth for gaming and everyday use. With a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, it promises excellent visibility even under direct sunlight.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which promises solid performance for a mid-range 5G smartphone. In terms of cameras, the Oppo A5 5G comes equipped with a 50MP main camera, paired with a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera for those perfect self-portraits.
