Oppo has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated Reno14 and Reno14 Pro series in India. After their initial unveiling in China last month, the devices have begun their international rollout, with Taiwan being the first destination.
The next stop is Malaysia, where the Reno14 series will make its debut on July 1. India will be next, with the Oppo Reno14 and Reno14 Pro launching on July 3 at 12 PM local time.
While Oppo hasn’t revealed the full specifications of the Indian variants just yet, we already know a fair amount about the Reno14 Pro. The device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC and is expected to feature a stunning quad-camera setup. This includes a 50MP primary camera with the OmniVision OV50E sensor and OIS for stable shots, a telephoto camera with a 3.5x optical zoom and the Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 116° field of view, and a 50MP selfie camera with auto-focus. These features promise to offer users exceptional photography capabilities.
The Oppo Reno14, on the other hand, will sport a triple-camera setup. The primary camera will be a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, paired with a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The selfie camera is the same as the Reno14 Pro’s, ensuring high-quality selfies for users who enjoy taking portraits and video calls.
Although detailed specifications for the Indian models are still under wraps, it’s likely that they will mirror the ones launched in Taiwan and China. If you’re curious about a side-by-side comparison of the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro, detailed specifications have already been shared in earlier announcements.
Interestingly, Oppo also introduced the Reno14 F in Taiwan, but there has been no official mention of this model coming to India at launch. It seems that the F series won’t be part of the July 3 release, but it may appear later in the region.
