The global version of the Oppo Reno14 Pro is gearing up for launch, and the first solid sign has just emerged-its appearance on Geekbench with the model number CPH2739. This confirms that the device is bound for international markets, as Oppo uses the “CPH” prefix for its global variants.

It’s exciting news for fans waiting to see whether the international version would match the powerful Chinese model. The good news? It does-mostly.

Under the hood, the Reno14 Pro packs the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which includes a combination of high-performance Cortex-A725 cores and the Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. Geekbench lists 12GB of RAM, though other RAM/storage configurations (including up to 1TB) are likely. The device runs on Android 15 out of the box, which is slightly awkward timing since Android 16 is due this month. Hopefully, Oppo ensures a fast update rollout post-launch.

The rest of the specs, if unchanged from the Chinese release, are quite premium: a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness, and a robust 6,200 mAh battery supporting both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The camera system is stacked-three 50MP sensors on the rear (main with OIS, telephoto with 3.5x zoom, and ultrawide with 116° FOV), and a 50MP selfie cam up front. This setup puts it right up there with some flagship competition.

What’s refreshing is Oppo’s decision to maintain the same chipset globally, unlike some past releases where international models were downgraded. That said, users are still hoping Oppo doesn’t just chase specs but also polishes the software experience-especially since AI integration via Google’s Gemini AI has been teased.

In all, the Oppo Reno14 Pro appears to be a serious contender in the upper mid-range or even borderline flagship tier. The only major concern? Releasing with Android 15 while Android 16 is knocking. Oppo, over to you.
