Pixel 10 Render Leak Shows Bold New Colors and a Third Camera

Google is gearing up to unveil the Pixel 10 lineup at its event on August 20, and leaked renders have already spilled the beans on the design and color options for the base model. This year, the Pixel 10 will come in four shades: Obsidian (classic black), Indigo (a deep royal blue), Frost (a subtle icy silver with a hint of blue), and Limoncello (a vibrant yellow-green).

Notably absent is Porcelain-Google’s signature white tone-suggesting a shift in the brand’s color direction.

The biggest hardware change? A new third camera. The Pixel 10 adds a 10.8 MP telephoto lens, joining a 48 MP main shooter and a 12 MP ultrawide. While it’s a welcome addition for zoom lovers, there’s a trade-off: rumor has it the main and ultrawide sensors are a step down compared to the Pixel 9. Google seems to be balancing costs while nudging buyers toward the Pro version for top-tier specs.

Interestingly, the 48 MP main sensor appears to be the same one used in the budget-friendly Pixel 9a, and the telephoto is borrowed from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold-an interesting blend of flagship and mid-range DNA. As expected, the Pixel 10 is powered by the Tensor G5 chip, continuing Google’s in-house SoC trend.

Pre-orders for the Pixel 10 start on August 20, with general availability beginning August 28. So if you’re tempted by the bold new Limoncello color-or curious about how that new camera setup performs-it won’t be long before you can get your hands on one.
