The Pixel 10 series is leaking once again, and this time we’re getting what appear to be official marketing renders – and yes, Google is doubling down on gray. Leaked by none other than Evan Blass, the renders reveal the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds Pro 2, all sporting the subdued ‘Moonstone’ shade, a sleek and subtle take on light gray.
While the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are technically labeled as ‘Sterling,’ the hue blends perfectly with the rest of Google’s Moonstone lineup.
The only standout is a thinner band variant of the Pixel Watch 4 that introduces a bit of visual variety, though even that comes in Moonstone too.
Interestingly, the base Pixel 10 and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold are absent from this leak. However, the foldable was previously spotted in the same gray tone, so there may not be much visual surprise left. As for the standard Pixel 10, it might arrive with more vibrant color options to offset the overwhelmingly neutral palette.
With the launch expected on August 20, these renders are likely part of Google’s final promotional push. The key update for this generation seems to be internal – namely the debut of the Tensor G5 chipset, Google’s first fully in-house chip built on TSMC’s 3nm process. This leap could finally close the performance gap with rivals like Apple and Samsung, positioning Google alongside the titans of custom silicon.
But while the hardware might be getting a serious upgrade under the hood, the design isn’t exactly sparking excitement. Gray, gray, and more gray – it’s a minimalist’s dream but might leave color-loving users reaching for bright phone cases. Here’s hoping Google gets bolder with the palette next year.
