The device may provide in-depth form analysis after each session, giving users a clearer understanding of their progress. For those who prefer lifting weights over cardio, these features would be a welcome change from the focus on running and cycling seen in previous Pixel Watch models.
But that’s not all-the Pixel Watch 4 is expected to continue supporting cardio activities like running and cycling, with AI-driven recommendations for runners, especially for Fitbit Premium subscribers. Additionally, advanced metrics such as cadence, stride length, vertical oscillation, and ground contact balance could provide athletes with deeper insights into their running performance. Google is also reportedly improving swim tracking and refining cycling features on the new watch.
The Pixel Watch 4 may also see an upgrade in its activity recognition capabilities, automatically identifying different sports activities with greater accuracy. With Google’s upcoming event scheduled for August 20, there’s no official confirmation, but the Pixel Watch 4, along with the Pixel 10 lineup, is expected to be unveiled during the Made by Google announcements.
