Get ready, Android fans-just about everything has leaked for the upcoming Poco F7, the latest addition to Xiaomi’s popular budget-friendly sub-brand. Following the launch of the Poco F7 Ultra and F7 Pro back in March, the standard Poco F7 is expected to make its official debut later this month, likely on June 25.
But thanks to a fresh leak, we already know nearly everything about it.
The regular Poco F7 takes a slightly different route in both design and specs. Unlike the Ultra and Pro, which share a similar rear camera layout, the base model features a vertical pill-shaped module housing a dual camera system. The phone has been spotted in three color variants: Black, White, and Silver.
Design differences aside, the Poco F7 is surprisingly larger than its siblings. It comes equipped with a massive 6.83-inch OLED display-bigger than the 6.67-inch panels on the Ultra and Pro. However, its resolution of 1280 x 2772 pixels is slightly lower, which may impact sharpness a bit. Still, it’s far from a basic panel, boasting support for 12-bit color, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits.
In terms of size, the F7 measures 163.1 x 77.9 x 8.2mm and weighs in at 215.7g, making it the largest of the trio. It’s also packing serious battery power-a whopping 7,550mAh battery with 90W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. Even in Europe, where it’s rumored to launch with a slightly smaller 6,500mAh battery, it still overshadows the Ultra’s 5,300mAh and the Pro’s 6,000mAh cells.
Battery life isn’t the only thing that stands out. The Poco F7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and could offer up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It will run on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 and includes a slew of AI-powered tools-like AI writing, real-time speech interpretation, smart subtitles, a digital assistant, and even an AI eraser for photos and AI-enhanced video editing.
Camera specs include a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS, accompanied by an 8 MP secondary lens. The front houses a 20 MP selfie shooter. Pricing hasn’t been confirmed, but rumors suggest it will be under €500 (around $570), making it a compelling alternative to the Pixel 9a or the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro-especially considering its larger storage option.
One catch: Poco phones aren’t officially available in the U.S. Although you might be able to import one via Poco’s global store, you could face compatibility issues with some U.S. networks. So think twice before clicking “Buy.”
