Straight4 Studios and publisher GIANTS Software have announced that their highly anticipated sim racing game, Project Motor Racing, will be launching on November 25, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The latest trailer provides a detailed look into the game’s career mode, emphasizing the complex and often harsh realities of professional racing.
In Project Motor Racing, players won’t just be focused on winning races. The true challenge lies in managing the logistics of being a professional driver: securing sponsorships, dealing with budgets, and ensuring their car is ready for the next race, regardless of the results. As Project Motor Racing’s game design director, Austin Ogonoski, explained, “We wanted to capture the harsh reality of pro motorsport. Budgets, repairs, sponsors, and the impact of failed overtakes. In this game, your career is motorsport with real consequences.”
The career mode is designed to immerse players in the full spectrum of racing life, where every decision counts. Players will negotiate sponsorships, balance race performance with the longevity of their car, and face the consequences of poor decisions, such as destroying their vehicle or blowing their budget.
In addition to the career mode, Project Motor Racing will offer full modding support from day one. Thanks to the GIANTS Engine, modders will be able to tweak and transform the game in any way they see fit, just like the popular Farming Simulator franchise. According to GIANTS Software’s head of publishing, Boris Stefan, “Racing modders will be able to tweak, tune, and transform their experience however they like.”
Pre-orders for Project Motor Racing are now available across all platforms, giving players the chance to secure their copy ahead of the highly anticipated launch.
