Ready or Not Crosses 10 Million Sales Thanks to Massive Console Debut

Ready or Not has smashed through sales records on consoles, hitting over 1 million copies sold in just four days.

This rapid surge pushes VOID Interactive’s gritty tactical shooter past a staggering 10 million total units sold, with 9 million of those coming from PC players earlier this year.

VOID Interactive’s CEO, Julio Rodriguez, expressed pride in the milestone, stating, “It took 36 days to hit 1 million on PC. On console, just 3.6. This is a major achievement for our team, and we’re deeply grateful to our community.” He also confirmed the team is actively working on fixes and improvements post-launch.

COO and creative director Stirling Rank added, “The console community has blown us away with their support. Watching our audience grow from Early Access days to this global moment is humbling.”

Despite the celebratory numbers, the console launch wasn’t without controversy. Some fans criticized recent changes made to both PC and console versions, citing censorship. These included toned-down depictions of violence and nudity, such as victims now being partially clothed and graphic elements removed entirely. VOID Interactive defended the changes as necessary to comply with global platform rules and age rating standards.

Longtime fans were quick to respond. Some posted negative Steam reviews, while one modder even released a patch reverting the new content adjustments just 20 minutes after the update went live.

Still, despite the backlash, Ready or Not’s momentum hasn’t slowed. The game continues to dominate on both PC and console, proving its formula of high-stakes, hyper-realistic tactical action still hits the mark for millions worldwide.
