The Realme 15 and 15 Pro are set to make their debut on July 24, and Realme is ramping up its teaser campaign for the upcoming duo.
The focus has primarily been on the Pro model so far, but today, Realme shifted gears and unveiled more details about the standard Realme 15, providing a glimpse into its impressive specs.
The Realme 15 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ SoC, featuring a 144Hz refresh rate display with a stunning 6,500-nit peak brightness. Its bolder design is complemented by smarter AI, and the camera system is poised to capture sharper videos with dual 50 MP 4K lenses. Despite being just 7.66mm thin, it manages to house a robust 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. The phone is also IP69 certified, ensuring both dust and water resistance. Realme is offering the device in Silk Pink, Velvet Green, and Flowing Silver color options.
While official details have emerged, a leak from an Indian tipster on X has filled in some gaps. According to the tipster, the screen size is 6.8 inches, with the rear cameras consisting of a 50 MP primary lens and an 8 MP ultrawide. The selfie camera is also a 50 MP unit, and there’s an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Realme 15 Pro shares many similarities with its non-Pro counterpart, but it’s slightly thicker by 0.03mm. It also comes with a 50 MP ultrawide camera and is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, which Realme officially confirmed earlier. The differences between the two models appear to be minimal, mainly the chipset, the ultrawide camera, and the slight increase in thickness – but of course, the price difference will likely be a significant factor in consumers’ decisions.
