Realme seems to be stirring the pot again with confusing model numbers and mixed signals. The Realme Note 70 has just appeared on the Google Play Console, listed under the model number RMX5313 – which also happens to be the same identifier used for the Realme Note 70T listed by a Lithuanian retailer.
But despite the shared model number, the specs don’t match up at all.
According to the Google Play Console listing, the Realme Note 70 (no ‘T’) is running on the Unisoc UMS9230 chip, which is most likely the Tiger T606. It’s paired with 4GB of RAM and is already running Android 15. The screen is listed as a 720p+ panel – a significant drop from what we expected from the Note 70T.
Previous leaks claimed the Realme Note 70T would feature a more powerful Unisoc T7250 chip and a much sharper 6.74-inch 1080p+ OLED display – also with 4GB of RAM. That sets a clear gap between the Note 70 and the Note 70T, suggesting these are not simply regional variants of the same device.
The Play Console further labels the Note 70 as RMX5313IN, pointing to an India-bound release. Interestingly, there’s speculation that in India, the Realme Note 70T might be sold under the name Realme C71. And with one Geekbench listing confirming the presence of the UMS9230 chip in RMX5313, it’s becoming evident that there’s either some mix-up at the retailer’s end or Realme is playing fast and loose with its naming conventions again.
In typical Realme fashion, we’re left trying to untangle what’s what – and with T606 still being used, it seems the chipset just won’t quit.
