RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet: A Gamer’s Dream

Christmas has come early for mobile gamers! The RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet is officially here, offering an impressive array of features designed for gamers and multitaskers alike.

This 9-inch beast sits comfortably between a smartphone and a laptop, delivering power and portability without the need for a bulky laptop. Whether you’re gaming, creating, or simply multitasking, the Astra promises high performance in a sleek package.

Unveiled on July 1, 2025, the Astra is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a stunning 9.06-inch OLED display with a 2.4K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, and a cooling system designed for peak performance during intense gaming sessions. With its transparent metal body and RGB accents, it’s as visually striking as it is functional.

The heart of the Astra lies in its OLED screen that boasts a 2400 x 1504 px resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. This ensures smooth, buttery gameplay and responsiveness, while the 1,600-nit peak brightness guarantees excellent visibility outdoors. The display also has a 90% screen-to-body ratio and is designed for ultra-accurate touch input, even during sweaty gaming sessions. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor is paired with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring fast app launches and seamless multitasking. The inclusion of the RedCore R3 Pro coprocessor is a game-changer, optimizing battery life, thermal performance, and system rendering for an even smoother experience.

Speaking of performance, the cooling system is nothing short of impressive. The RedMagic Astra features a 13-layer cooling system, including Liquid Metal 2.0 for heat dissipation, dual vapor chambers, and a high-speed turbofan spinning at 20,000 RPM. This innovative setup keeps the tablet cool even during demanding tasks, while also improving charging efficiency by up to 13%
