Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man Trilogy Returns for Limited Theatrical Rerelease

Get ready to swing into theaters this fall as Sam Raimi’s iconic Spider-Man trilogy is making its grand return for a limited time! Starting September 26, fans will be able to catch the original Spider-Man (2002) on the big screen. But the real treat comes the following day on September 27, when Spider-Man 2 returns in an exclusive 4K edition, retitled Spider-Man 2.1, featuring never-before-seen extended scenes. This new version, which includes deleted footage, marks the first time the extended cut will be shown in theaters. The trilogy will wrap up with a screening of Spider-Man 3 on September 28, bringing all the web-slinging action to a close.

According to Ray Nutt, CEO of Fathom Entertainment, “The success of Spider-Man in 2002 helped launch the modern era of superhero films.

Tobey Maguire’s portrayal of Spider-Man continues to resonate with fans of all generations.” Fathom Entertainment, known for its cool rereleases like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and upcoming screenings of Clueless, is offering encore screenings of the trilogy from October 3-5. It’s a chance for those who miss the original weekend to join in the fun or enjoy a second round of superhero action.

Tickets for the Spider-Man trilogy rerelease go on sale July 25, so be sure to grab yours before they sell out!

Daaaamn, Spider-Man 2 is not only the best Spider-Man film ever made, I'd say it's one of the best superhero films ever made period! It still holds up every bit of it!

Not sure how I feel about CGI Alfred Molina in 4K though… hope it doesn't look too fake on the big screen
