Samsung has officially revealed its latest budget-friendly wireless earbuds – the Galaxy Buds Core – set to arrive imminently.
The first teasers appeared over the weekend on Amazon India, where a product page is already live, with sales kicking off on June 27.
While Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed global availability, signs point to a broader launch. The Galaxy Buds Core were also spotted on Samsung’s UAE website, suggesting a rollout beyond India. However, U.S. consumers may need to wait, as there’s still no word on a stateside release.
The Buds Core seem to follow in the footsteps of the Galaxy Buds FE, launched in 2023 for $99. Though Samsung hasn’t released full specs, certification leaks suggest a major improvement in battery life. Each earbud is rumored to carry a 100mAh battery – a significant boost from the Buds FE’s 60mAh – while the charging case reportedly packs 500mAh compared to the 479mAh of the Buds FE.
This boost could address one of the Buds FE’s biggest drawbacks: mediocre battery performance. If true, users can expect extended playtime and fewer trips to the charger. Other details, such as sound quality or ANC support, remain unconfirmed, though Samsung’s teaser hinted at “louder, clearer, deeper” audio – likely a step up from past budget offerings.
In addition to the Galaxy Buds Core, Samsung is reportedly also developing the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, potentially as a mid-tier option in the 2025 lineup. Given Samsung’s release cadence – the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro launched in mid-2024 – another audio refresh makes perfect sense.
With the launch just days away, more details should surface soon, including whether or not American buyers will get access at launch. For now, global fans can mark their calendars and get ready for what might be Samsung’s most compelling budget earbuds yet.
