Samsung Galaxy F36 Surfaces in Google Play Console with Design and Specs

Samsung is gearing up to launch a new midrange device, the Galaxy F36, and it’s already made its appearance on the Google Play Console. Along with the listing, a detailed image of the device has surfaced, showing off its design and some key specs. The Galaxy F36 features a waterdrop notch display and a camera setup housed in an oval-shaped island, which holds three sensors. Two of these cameras are arranged in their own small oval formation, with the LED flash positioned to the right.

The overall look follows the familiar Samsung style, with a focus on the large camera island-a trend seen in many of Samsung’s non-flagship models.

The screen of the F36 boasts a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and a pixel density of 450 ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM, making it a capable mid-range device. The phone will run Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 on top, though Android 16 is already available from Google. This confirms that the F36 will likely launch soon, possibly by the end of the month.

Interestingly, the Google Play Console listing suggests that the F36 will be identical to the Galaxy M36, which was previously spotted in the Geekbench database in April, also featuring the same Exynos 1380 chipset. This points to the possibility that the F36 and M36 may be officially unveiled together in the near future.

Waterdrop notch in 2025? Really? And that chin... looks like they’re stuck in the past. 😤

Samsung, please stop with the waterdrop notch. It's 2025! Get with the times. 😅

The punch-hole selfie camera should be standard by now, just like the Type-C port. Come on, Samsung! 🙄
