While the design has received some tweaks, particularly with an updated camera island, the core specifications remain largely the same as last year’s Galaxy M35.

The Galaxy M36 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+. The front of the phone houses a 13MP selfie camera nestled in a waterdrop notch, while the rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.

Powering the device is Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and internal storage options of 128GB or 256GB. The device runs on One UI 7, based on Android 15, and Samsung promises up to six years of Android updates, ensuring the device stays relevant for years.

The Galaxy M36 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, offering decent longevity for everyday use. The phone comes in three colors: Orange Haze, Velvet Black, and Serene Green. It is priced starting at INR 22,999 ($269) for the 6GB/128GB variant, though a special launch offer reduces the price to INR 16,499 ($193).

Open sales for the Galaxy M36 will begin on July 12, available on Amazon India and Samsung’s official online store.
