Samsung is set to have a busy summer, with a lineup of exciting launches, including its foldable flagship phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. But the company isn’t stopping there, as it also has a more affordable option for those who don’t want to splurge on its premium devices: the Galaxy M36.
Following the success of the Galaxy M35, Samsung is gearing up to introduce the M36 in India on June 27. 
The phone will be available for purchase on Amazon India and Samsung’s official website. With a sleek design, the Galaxy M36 will come in three distinct colors: Velvet Black, Serene Green, and Orange Haze. At just 7.7mm thick, it is 15% thinner than its predecessor, the M35.
While there’s little change in the internals, the Galaxy M36 continues to run on the Exynos 1380 chipset, just like the M35. It also features the same triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main lens, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro. For selfies, it carries a 13MP front camera, identical to its predecessor.
Battery life is expected to be similar to the M35’s massive 6,000mAh unit, though Samsung hasn’t shared specifics yet. One notable change is the shift from an Infinity-O display to an Infinity-U screen. Despite this, the display’s quality remains nearly identical, and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ for durability.
Pricing details are still under wraps, but it is expected to be in the same range as the M35, which launched in India between Rs 20,000 and Rs 24,500, depending on the model. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the official release date!
