Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 FE has just surfaced in a fresh set of CAD-based renders, giving us a detailed look at what’s next in the FE lineup.
While it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, the S25 FE subtly refines the formula, sticking with a familiar design but optimizing dimensions and potentially delivering better performance.
The renders, leaked by SammyGuru in collaboration with OnLeaks, show a metal-bodied phone with flat frames, a centered punch-hole display, and the classic vertical triple-camera setup
. It still feels premium – no brushed frames, no oversized camera rings, and no gimmicky textured glass backs like other S25 variants. Just sleek, clean design.
Physically, the Galaxy S25 FE measures 161.4 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm – slightly smaller and thinner than its predecessor, the S24 FE. Interestingly, despite its trimmed frame, the S25 FE reportedly retains the same 6.7″ display, thanks to thinner bezels. The screen is a Super AMOLED panel with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 2,600 nits of peak brightness.
Specs-wise, rumors suggest the device could be powered by either the Exynos 2400 or MediaTek Dimensity 9400, paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. It’s likely to ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16. However, some fans are wary of the Exynos variant, urging Samsung to go with Dimensity for better value-for-money performance.
The camera setup remains competitive: a 50MP main shooter with OIS, an 8MP telephoto lens (3x optical zoom), a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP front-facing sensor. All standard fare for Samsung’s FE series, but enough for high-quality photography.
There’s concern about whether the reduced thickness will impact battery capacity. Many users are calling for a larger 6000mAh battery to keep up with Chinese competitors. As of now, no official word from Samsung confirms the battery size or final chipset choice.
In essence, the Galaxy S25 FE keeps things safe with minor tweaks. For some, it’s a missed opportunity. For others, especially fans of minimalist design and solid performance, it might be the sweet spot between flagship features and affordability.
