Samsung Galaxy S25 One UI 8 Beta Update: Key Fixes and Performance Boosts

Samsung Galaxy S25 series has received its third One UI 8 beta update, rolling out to users in regions like the UK, India, Germany, and South Korea. The US and Poland are expected to get the update soon.

This version, weighing in at 1.2GB, includes several important fixes and improvements.

Among the updates, Samsung has fixed a bug causing an overlap between the recent apps’ status bar and running apps. Another issue related to unwanted keyboard input after rebooting on the Security Folder PIN input screen has been resolved. Additionally, a text input error that occurred when using the swipe gesture has been addressed, providing a smoother experience. The update also fixes the long wait time when entering the Mode/Routine menu, improving user responsiveness.

Galaxy S25 Ultra users can now enjoy uninterrupted text input when using the S Pen, as the previous input error has been patched. The update also includes several other performance optimizations and software improvements.

If rumors are accurate, Samsung plans to release One UI 8 officially alongside the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, making this third beta version potentially the last before the stable release. However, as this information hasn’t been confirmed by Samsung, some users may have to wait longer for the final rollout.
